People seem to associate a caricaturist because of their youth. Perhaps it was that caricature illustrating they got at Disney or the Jersey shore whenever they were a kid.
With my experience from the party and entertainment business, I can tell you it really is a myth.
Adults love being sketched by way of caricaturist. When I'm set up for a fair, usually I draw typically kids. I immediately explain to them a lot of my cartooning events are intended for grownups. The greatest selling point of obtaining caricature artists at a wedding is it is equally a wedding favor. So you get more bang for your buck. You get wedding entertainment and great wedding favors.
And having a cartoon artist is reasonably reasonable when you figure that you handle both options.
At Christmas and Holiday get-togethers you hear the comments from people whenever they see me drawing caricatures. Many people say "what are we 12 a long time old"? Many say, "This is a really fun and original idea". When i hear them saying, "Who looked into this"?
As you draw you possibly can hear all the laughter and humorous comments around the drawings. I start to laugh myself likewise. It's a wonderful feeling to bring a smile to the faces of lots of people. That's what I like in relation to my job.
After so many comments on these events hearing caricatures are simply just for kids, I guess that adults are simply just BIG KIDS.
