Entertainment actually is an action or a movement that consists of any activities which grant a recreation, or diversion in the daily routine. It allows people to engross themselves in their spare time. Entertainment is usually passive, such as viewing opera, film or a theatrical show. It has given society a place where they can take a break from there stress full life. Entertainment has given society a getaway from veracity, which at instant proves quite demanding, hectic, difficult and challenging.
Art and Entertainment is a medium which is liked by say by every person both are two sides of the same coin. The only difference it the materials for entertainment have a popular or mass appeal, it can be understood easily by commoners whereas art involves are fined sense of understanding. The, difference between Van Gogh's paintings and a James Bond movie. One is art the other is entertainment. But the purpose of both is relaxing the mind and generating a pleasurable feeling.
"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". This is so true of human beings and entertainment is one of the best means of overcoming this adage. People need to relax at some point of their day because it is relaxation that eggs you on to work better. And to relax you need entertainment. Typically entertainment is type of activity that amuses people and generally makes them feel relaxed.
